Andor, and also referred to as Star Wars: Andor and Andor: A Star Wars Story for its second season, is an American science fiction television series developed by Tony Gilroy
The initial season, which narrates a year of Andor’s life when he becomes an activist for the first time, was shot between November 2020 and September 2021.The first season was also praised by critics along with receiving many awards. It was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Drama Series.
The second and last season will be released on April 22, 2025, with three episodes every week until May 13. The second season spans the next four years to Rogue One.
“Andor” Season 2 arrives today, April 22, 2025, on Disney+, with the first three episodes streaming. This closing season runs for 12 episodes, released in four weekly blocks of three episodes apiece. The broadcast schedule is as follows:

Season 2 follows the life of Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) as he becomes a central character in the Rebellion, leading up to the events of “Rogue One.” The season explores themes of political maneuvering, espionage, and the personal sacrifices of revolution, with returning characters such as Mon Mothma, Saw Gerrera, and K-2SO.
